A balance of wins and fails
The peaceful area and clean, comfortable cottage. The warm heating and immaculate facilities ensured a cozy atmosphere, just steps away from beautiful river views.
The initial communication left much to be desired. Arriving to find our accommodation unexpectedly shifted put a damper on our experience, especially with two young children in tow.

Greatly enjoyed the place, had a GOOD stay for the night next time. The hotels' team was helpful.
Unfortunately Wi-Fi was very spotty.

Fairly friendly staff, breakfasts were free.
The room was neat and new-fashioned, included electric blankets and hypoallergenic pillows. The location was beautiful for me, within walking distance of the township. And it was just a short stroll away from Tulio, ate there couple of times.

Ross is a small historical town. The cleanliness, buildings ,food at the Man of Ross Hotel and local Art competition added to a pleasant visit. The location beside the river away from roads helped to give a quiet nights sleep.

Clean place with a nice outdoor area. Frustrating check-in experience made us run back to reception. Short drive to nearby golf course and hiking trails. Perfect for a weekend getaway.

The place was clean and had a nice outdoor area to relax after busy days. It's also just a short drive to golf and other attractions. Perfect spot for a weekend getaway!
The check-in process was frustrating. We couldn't find the key that was supposedly left for us.

Lovely walks around the area. Great for fishing . The local Pub had wonderful meals in a warm cosy enviroment
Not a complaint about staff as such but I entered Reception and was greeted very warmly Then the phone rang I wasnt excused just interupted. The staff member was obviously asked by someone on the other end to look up an email query The receptionist was on the phone for 7 mins ,No reason at that time given to me and no sorry mouthed either. When receptionist got off phone sorry was then said and explained that it was the owner. I would have thought the owner would have preferred to keep their customers happy and not kept waiting. Admititly the receptionist did not say to the person on the end of the phone that she was with someone at present untill the very end of my waiting time so if it had been said earlier i am sure the owner would have let her attend to me.In saying all of this The motel was lovely and I have already recommended it to quite a few people as we travel up that way from Hobart for business freqently and would have no hesitation in staying there againA delightful Quiet place to stay.

The manager gave excellent service. We had asked for a twin room, and there was not one available, but the Motel gave us a family suite with two bedrooms for the same price. The rooms were of an excellent standard- clean, everything almost new and in a beautiful location. Ross is a beautiful place to stay!
No complaints at all!
